Solid distribution, minor dashboard issue

I purchased the Pro Plan to distribute an album and a few singles. The distribution process was straightforward, and my music appeared on streaming services as expected. The Sales Analytics are helpful for tracking performance. However, navigating some sections of the Artist Dashboard felt a bit clunky, especially on mobile. It wasn't a deal-breaker, but there's room for improvement there. Overall, a good service for the price, and I appreciated keeping 100% of royalties.

Amazing for my first EP!

I just released my first EP through Ditto Music, and it was such an awesome experience! I got the Unlimited Music Distribution, and they got my songs on Spotify, Apple Music, everything. The whole process was so smooth, and their YouTube Content ID feature worked perfectly for a track that got some traction. I'm definitely using them again for my next project and already told my bandmates they have to try it!

Great value for new artists

As a first-time artist, I was looking for the best deal. I got the Artist Plan during their first year discount period, which made it super affordable. Getting my music on all the major platforms without giving up royalties was the main draw. It felt like a really good investment for what I paid. Happy with the overall value.

Reliable for multiple releases

This was my third time using Ditto for distribution. I've been with them for a couple of years now, mostly using the Pro Plan. The consistency is what keeps me coming back. My releases always go out on schedule, and the Artist Dashboard is familiar. It's just a reliable service for getting my tracks everywhere. No surprises, which is what I need.

Good distribution service

I used Ditto for Unlimited Music Distribution for my latest single. Upload was easy enough. It got to Spotify and Apple Music on time. No issues with the basic service.

I'm thinking about getting the Pro plan but it's a bit pricey. Any chance of finding a discount code somewhere for new users?

B Brian Carter 1 week ago
Check their site around seasonal events, sometimes they have first-year discounts. Also, if you know someone who uses it, they might have a referral code for new sign-ups.

I think they sometimes do introductory offers for new artists. I'd poke around their social media or sign up for their newsletter, they announce stuff there sometimes. You usually enter it at checkout.

Thinking of switching to Ditto from Distrokid. How's their customer service actually? Cause Distrokid support is basically non-existent.

D Danielle Campbell 3 weeks ago
Ditto's support is pretty solid from my experience. Not instant chat like some places but they usually get back to you within a day or two and are helpful.

Yeah, I had an issue with a release a few months ago and they sorted it out. Definitely better than DK where you just send an email into the void lol.

does ditto take a cut of your royalties or do you really keep 100%? seems kinda too good to be true for the price.

P Patricia Parker 1 week ago
Nah, they genuinely let you keep 100% of your royalties. You just pay the annual subscription fee and that's it.

Can confirm, 100% is yours. That's why I switched over. It's way better than some other distributors that take a percentage.

Anyone know if Ditto does a Black Friday sale every year? Trying to decide if I should jump on the Artist plan now or wait a bit.

S Susan Clark 1 month ago
They usually do! I got my first year plan on a Black Friday deal a couple years back, saved like 30% or something. Worth waiting if you're not in a rush.

Yeah, I've seen them run deals around Black Friday and Cyber Monday. Plus, sometimes they have stuff for like, Independent Artist Day too, so keep an eye out.

Is Ditto actually legit for getting on big playlists? Or is their 'Spotify Playlisting' just for like, tiny curated ones?

T Tim Harris 3 days ago
It's a mix, honestly. They can get you on some decent independent ones, but it's not a magic bullet for editorial playlists. That's still a grind.

I used their playlisting service once, got a few thousand streams from it which was cool. It's not like a guaranteed major playlist spot but it definitely helps get some initial traction.
